West Davie is the largest of the town’s 11 planning areas and the one that still looks like the horse country Davie is known for. The town’s comprehensive plan calls it Planning Area 2 and says the main existing and planned use is single-family homes at one home an acre, in “numerous large and small subdivisions of one-acre lots,” with larger parcels being platted for estate homes.
