- Guest speakers and an honor guard
- Each armed forces medley played to recognize the veterans in attendance
- A light lunch after the ceremony

A free meal for Davie veterans
The town’s Veterans Voucher Program, in its sixth year, gives 100 Davie veterans a $30 voucher for a meal at a participating Davie restaurant, the town said in its Oct. 5 announcement.
- Pickup: Monday, Oct. 19, to Sunday, Nov. 8, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., at the Pine Island Multipurpose Center, 3801 S. Pine Island Road, while supplies last
- Use: Nov. 8-15
- Who qualifies: honorably discharged veterans who live in Davie, with proof of residence and proof of service
