Breakfast and coffee in Davie: University Drive and beyond

Most of Davie’s breakfast and coffee stops are on South University Drive, from the Tower Shops by Interstate 595 south to Stirling Road. Away from it there is a diner on State Road 84 in the west, a cafe inside a plant nursery on Flamingo Road and a local coffee roaster on Griffin Road. For weekend brunch, see our brunch page.

How we made this list. The places come from OpenStreetMap records inside Davie’s town limits, the same data behind our local directory, checked against each place’s own website on Oct. 8, 2026. We added Crema Gourmet, Denny’s, Flamingo Café and Market and Tower Deli & Diner from the state’s restaurant inspection records and their own websites, and we checked every address against the town limits. We left out a breakfast cafe on Griffin Road whose website no longer loads and whose address now holds a different business in state records. The list is alphabetical. Ally’s Comfort Café on State Road 84 in western Davie calls itself a breakfast and lunch diner with home-cooked food made fresh daily. It posts weekly specials, takes online orders for pickup and caters breakfast and lunch. It is open all year.

Crema Gourmet at 2256 S. University Drive is the Davie location of a Miami cafe group that serves breakfast and brunch all day, along with bowls, salads and coffee. Its page lists dine-in and takeout, free Wi-Fi and power outlets for laptops.

Cubico Coffee is a coffee roaster with two Davie cafes, one on Griffin Road and one on Volunteer Road in the west. Its site sells roasted coffee and wholesale accounts as well.

Denny’s at 5645 S. University Drive, north of Stirling Road, is the only place on this list that says it is open around the clock, with breakfast on the menu at any hour.

Dunkin’ has four stores in Davie: two on South University Drive, one on Weston Road and one on State Road 7. The store at 2321 S. University Drive shares its space with Baskin-Robbins. Hours vary by store; each has its own location page.

Flamingo Café and Market sits inside Flamingo Road Nursery. The nursery describes breakfast dishes, made-from-scratch soups and paninis, smoothies, lemonade and coffee. The cafe opens at 8 a.m. every day, and the garden center stays open until 6 p.m.

Starbucks has three stores on South University Drive: near I-595, at Griffin Road and at Stirling Road. Hours differ by store and are on each store’s locator page.

Tower Deli & Diner at 2315 S. University Drive serves a breakfast menu of omelets, eggs any style, pancakes and bagels, along with deli sandwiches and catering, according to its site.
